In this 7 week course that combines Instruction, Assignments and Feedback you will learn how to write a solid Short Screenplay, understand how to structure a script from shorts to features, receive feedback each week and have a completed script at the end.

Week 1: Introduction to Shorts & Story - What is Story? What makes a great short film? Choosing “The Right Idea”

Week 2: Treatment & Structure

Week 3: Characters & Archetypes

Week 4: Creating a Beatsheet and Writing Scene Cards

Week 5: Formatting

Week 6: Writing Strong Dialogue and Creating a Standout Logline

Week 7: The Rewrite: Review Pages and feedback.

Industry Standard Feedback given with your final Draft of the script at the end of the course.
