Selected projects are Screenplays currently seeking funding and/or in development. As a Screenwriter, Kat's work has received positive attention from film festivals around the world. Kat's writing is gritty, dramatic and honest. She takes tragic moments, finds humour within them and tells stories that reach straight to your heart. British and European in style with a North American flavour, Kat's screenplays reflect her vast education in film and travel across the world.
Kat is UCLA graduate of the professional Screenwriters program with an M.A in Film and a B.A in Film and Theatre.
Taken Away - Narrative Feature Screenplay
Sara is diligent as a social worker and dysfunctional in her personal life, so when she discovers that she made a mistake taking a child away from a negligent parent, she reluctantly battles the system, an unexpected pregnancy and her own grief, to find a way out and save the child.
